Webflow Website Builder 2025 Review: Mastering Web Design Simplified

Webflow Website Builder 2025 Review: Mastering Web Design Simplified

This latest Webflow review examines one of the most sophisticated website builders available in 2025. Unlike traditional drag-and-drop platforms, Webflow generates clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code while maintaining an intuitive visual interface. The platform has evolved significantly since its 2013 launch, now offering comprehensive features for everything from simple portfolios to complex e-commerce stores.

Techradar reviewers have spent thousands of hours testing 140+ website builders to understand what works best for different users. Webflow competes in an increasingly competitive market with many tools featured in our best website builders roundup . Yet while Wix remains our top pick for most users, Webflow targets a different audience entirely with its advanced feature set.

Webflow appeals to designers, agencies, and businesses that need precise control over their website's appearance and functionality. We found Webflow delivers exceptional creative freedom, but this comes with complexity that may overwhelm beginners.

Webflow: 2-minute review

Webflow positions itself as the professional's choice for visual web development. Our testing confirms this reputation, reviewing a unique platform that combines the accessibility of drag-and-drop builders with the precision of hand-coded websites. You get clean and production-ready code without writing a single line yourself.

This company has built a strong reputation among web professionals since 2013, attracting designers and developers who need advanced tools to bring their visions to life. Webflow's market position is unique — it's more complex than Wix or Squarespace but more accessible than pure development frameworks like HTML5 and PHP. Recent updates in 2025 have also added AI-powered tools, improved CMS capabilities, and better team collaboration features.

What is Webflow?

Webflow is an all-in-one web development platform that lets you design, build, and launch websites without touching code. Think of it as a visual interface that automatically writes professional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as you design. You drag elements, adjust layouts, and customize styles - while Webflow handles the technical implementation behind the scenes.

The platform consists of four main components: Designer for visual website creation, CMS for content management, e-commerce tools for online stores, and hosting services. Unlike simple website builders that limit your design options, Webflow embraces web development principles like flexbox, CSS Grid, and responsive breakpoints — making them visual and accessible to non-coders.

Features

Webflow offers an impressive feature set that rivals professional development tools while maintaining visual accessibility. The platform's Designer interface provides holistic CSS controls, including advanced layout options like CSS Grid and Flexbox, custom animations, and responsive design tools. You can create complex interactions, manage global design systems, and even add custom code when needed.

CMS capabilities are extremely robust, supporting dynamic content, custom fields, and automated workflows through integrations like Zapier. Content creators can manage blogs, portfolios, and product catalogs through an intuitive interface, while designers maintain full control over how that content appears. The 2025 updates have added nested collection lists and improved localization controls, making content management even more powerful.

E-commerce functionality covers essential online store needs, though it's not as comprehensive as dedicated platforms like Shopify. You can manage products, customize checkout experiences, and integrate with payment processors like Stripe and PayPal. However, advanced e-commerce features like subscription billing or complex inventory management require workarounds or third-party integrations.

AI additions include an AI Assistant for generating page sections, Webflow Optimize for conversion testing, and an AI Site Builder in beta. These tools speed up common tasks without replacing the need for design expertise. The pricing reflects this feature richness. While more expensive than basic builders, the professional capabilities justify the cost for users who need design flexibility and clean code output.

Tools

Unlike most website builders, Webflow doesn't hold back when it comes to developer-friendly features, whether you're looking to set up complex A/B testing workflows or create CSS and Javascript-heavy animations. Here are some new features we liked the best during our review:

AI assistant

Like many other AI website builders , Webflow offers an AI assistant to help you get things done. For example, Webflow's AI assistant will allow members of your team to quickly design and generate new styled content by using conversational prompts.

It can also generate a full CMS item with contextually relevant content based on a simple prompt. This will be a huge time saver for agencies and businesses looking to spin up realistic content for new pages.

Personalization and optimization

Webflow recognizes the importance of analytics to agencies and businesses. The Optimize feature offers AI-powered A/B testing and personalization. It works behind the scenes in real-time to ensure a dynamic and personalized user journey every time.

Similarly, Webflow Analyze offers users a unified view of visitor behaviors, helping designers and content marketers to make data-backed decisions.

Third-party apps

You can drastically improve the functionality of your website via tWebflow Apps. These cover everything from analytics and automations to forms and marketing.

A recent addition to Webflow Apps is Adobe Express. This app helps you create advanced AI-generated graphics from within the Webflow platform by integrating Abobe Express' powerful image editing tools.

Webflow university

A solid resource for new users is the Webflow University 101 Crash Course videos .

The videos are designed to teach you how to use Webflow and give you all the tricks to make website building a smooth process. They are organized into different lesson categories, and most of them range from 5 to 15 minutes in length.

Anyone can freely access all of the videos. Even if you’re using the free version or just want to learn more about building a website without deciding on a specific platform, these videos are incredibly helpful.

Ease of use

The interface is very easy to navigate - you can access all of the free templates and start using them right away. It’s also easy to find any of the website building tools and features.

Everything on Webflow is very well-organized. For example, if you’re looking at templates and want something for a photography portfolio, all you need to do is select free templates and then start searching by category, the style you want, or by features. Tons of examples will show up for you to look through. The organization and free easy access makes finding a template quick and easy.

Pricing

When you start using Webflow, you’ll have the option to choose between site plans and workspace plans. Site plans are for personal websites, blogs, and small businesses. Within site plans you will have access to both general site options and ecommerce options. Account plans are targeted more towards professionals, making them ideal for agencies and freelancers.

Webflow offers one of the best free website builder plans. It includes everything you need to try Webflow. There’s no credit card required for setup and you can use it for an unlimited time. It includes access to a Webflow.io domain, 50 CMS items, and 50 form submissions.

The Basic plan costs $14.00 per month when you pay annually or $18.00 billed monthly. This gives you everything from the Starter plan, plus extra site pages (150) and an allowance of 250K visitors. The CMS plan costs $23 monthly (paid annually) or $28 paid monthly, for this you get 3 website editors, site search, and 250GB of bandwidth.

The Business plan costs $39.00 per month when paid annually ($49 paid monthly). It includes everything in the CMS plan, plus extra bandwidth (400GB), extra editors (10), and form file upload. For anything above and beyond the Business plan you can contact Webflow for a bespoke package.

When it comes to ecommerce there are 3 options to choose from. Standard at $29/mo (paid annually) or $49/mo (paid monthly). This comes with 500 ecommerce items, 2000 CMS items, a 2% transaction fee, and all the features of the CMS plan.

Plus is $74/mo (paid annually) or $84/mo (paid monthly). You get 5000 ecommerce items, 10,000 CMS items, and no transaction fee (plus everything from the Business plan). Advanced is $212/mo (paid annually) or $235/mo (paid monthly). This gives you 10,000 extra ecommerce items on top of everything from the Plus plan.

If you need a workspace plan, you have 3 options. The Starter plan is free and comes with access for one user, unlimited paid hosted sites, two webflow.io staging sites (with 2 pages and 50 CMS items), 2 agency guests, and 2 free commenters.

The Core is $19/mo (paid annually) or $28/mo (paid monthly) plan gives you extra users, staging sites, and commenters, as well as page password protection and the ability to use custom code. The Growth plan is $49/mo (paid annually) or $60/mo (paid monthly) - it gives you more users, unlimited staging sites, and publishing permissions.

You can also contact Webflow about personalized packages for any needs which exceed these plans.

Security

Webflow provides enterprise-grade security features that protect both websites and user data. All sites receive automatic SSL/TLS encryption, with the platform having transitioned to TLS 1.3 encryption in 2022 for enhanced security. The hosting infrastructure includes DDoS protection and automatic backups, ensuring your website remains accessible and recoverable in case of issues.

Additional security measures include PCI-DSS compliance for e-commerce sites and two-factor authentication for account access. Webflow's cloud-based architecture means security updates and patches are applied automatically, reducing the maintenance burden on users while keeping sites protected against emerging threats.

Support

Webflow offers multiple support channels, though the quality and availability vary by plan tier. All users can access the comprehensive Webflow University, which provides detailed tutorials, courses, and documentation covering everything from basic design principles to advanced development techniques. The community forum is active and helpful, with both Webflow staff and experienced users providing assistance.

Paid plan users receive email support, with response times varying based on plan level. Business and Enterprise customers get priority support with faster response times and dedicated account management. However, phone support isn't available across all plans, which some users find limiting compared to competitors.

The platform has also introduced AI-powered customer support tools and help desk integrations, allowing businesses to provide better support to their own customers through Webflow-built sites. While the company's own support is generally helpful, the learning curve means you'll likely need to invest time in their educational resources regardless of your plan level.

Alternatives

Wix , Weebly , and Squarespace , are just a few of the top competitors to Webflow. Wix does offer a free trial for an unlimited time, but it doesn’t even compare to Webflow’s free storage space. Wix includes 50 MB while Webflow offers 10 GB.

But more importantly, not many conventional website builders offer the depth of advanced functionality or the insane amount of educational resources that come with Webflow. If you're looking to switch from a code-intensive workflow to no-code tools without any loss in flexibility, this is the platform for you.

Webflow: Summary

No matter what stage you’re at with building a website, there’s a lot of options on Webflow that could take your website to the next level. The downside is how you can’t export CMS content, however, you will have access to plenty of free materials. Webflow comes with an entire library of video resources, hundreds of free templates, and you can use the free version for an unlimited time. The interface is also very organized - it doesn’t feel like you’re using a cheap web host. Templates look professional and everything is well organized. Overall, Webflow is a great web host, especially if you want to learn new tricks for making website building a lot easier.

FAQs

Is Webflow suitable for beginners?

Webflow has a steeper learning curve than traditional website builders like Wix or Squarespace. While you don't need coding skills, understanding web design concepts like responsive breakpoints, flexbox, and CSS properties will help you succeed. The platform offers extensive educational resources through Webflow University, but expect to invest several weeks learning the interface and best practices.

Can I migrate my existing website to Webflow?

Webflow doesn't offer automated migration tools from other platforms. You'll need to rebuild your site using Webflow's Designer interface, though you can import content through CSV files for blog posts and other structured data. The process requires manual work but gives you the opportunity to improve your site's design and performance during the transition.

What are Webflow's main limitations?

Webflow has several notable limitations including a 100 static page limit per project and 10,000 CMS items per site. The platform also requires a stable internet connection since it's entirely cloud-based. E-commerce features, while solid, aren't as comprehensive as dedicated platforms like Shopify. Version control is only available on Enterprise plans, which can complicate team workflows.

Teachers Reveal Shocking Differences in Modern Kid Teaching vs. "The Good Old Days" — What's Changed?

Teachers Reveal Shocking Differences in Modern Kid Teaching vs. "The Good Old Days" — What's Changed?

Teachers who've been in the field for a longtime have had the chance to usher in generations of students through education — whether it's Gen X, millennials, Gen Z, or Gen A. And, along with the rest of the world, education, classroom culture, and curricular has changed over time. Recently, long-time teachers of the Community shared the differences they've noticed between teaching kids now versus "back in the day," and some of the responses are...a bit wild and concerning:

1. "I've been teaching for over 25 years, and I've noticed a HUGE change in parental support and student behaviors. And once upper administration began treating families as clients, there has been an increased focus on test scores, too. At this point, families are our customers. Education is no longer a privilege provided to children and families, but a business where the students and parents hold all the cards. We, as teachers, are left with no authority or support, higher demands, and children who know that all it takes is a call to Mom or Dad to get the teacher in trouble. Why would anyone want to work in this kind of environment?"

2. "Trying to get my kids to not use ChatGPT has been the bane of my existence. It has become SO hard to get my students engaged and thinking critically when they know that the second they get home, they can have a robot come up with thoughts for them, or solve the equation for them. AI can be a helpful tool in some circumstances, but relying on it instead of our brains will be the downfall of education, I suspect. Back then, some kids plagiarized, sure, but AI has presented a whole new problem that many teachers, like myself, aren't sure how to navigate."

—Molly, California

3. "I taught in gifted classes for 29 years. The novels I taught to middle school kids in the early '80s, my seniors couldn't read in 2012. It's so sad."

— wickedship86

4. "I've been a teacher for 25 years. Nowadays, parents take everything their kid says as gospel. I have 150 children coming through my door each day. I do not have the time to make things up about your child's behavior, especially when I only get a 25-minute plan three days a week."

5. "There are certainly differences between students from the beginning of my teacher career and those I'm teaching now. However, among the most significant changes are the learning demands, the pace of instruction, and the pressure to perform. Often, expectations aren't even developmentally appropriate for kids at their respective ages. My district begins administering standardized academic assessments in early childhood programs (literally 3- and 4-year-olds being tested and evaluated for reading and math skills). It's no wonder there's such a dramatic increase in childhood anxiety — they don't even have a chance to be kids, and it's really sad."

— crispyaardvark892

6. "I'm truly terrified by the literacy of our children. My 13-year-olds are reading at an average level of fourth grade. Not to mention that the vast majority of them have never finished a book. Our education system spoon-feeds students information to coddle their inability to focus on a text for long periods. We are just not setting them up for success, and it breaks my heart. Thankfully, we are finally starting to bring back accelerated reading, and each student now has to have two books with them. I'm praying this keeps going, because I just can't see these kids making it through college."

— morgandemkey

7. "Many students have Fs and read four grades below their grade level. It's a nightmare."

8. "I am back in schools as a sub after 10 years of retirement. Kids haven't changed; they still act as idiotic as we did. Though attention spans are noticeably shorter, by high school, these young people have an awareness about themselves that we never had to worry about as teens. 'Stranger danger,' monthly active shooter drills, social media, and TV and media rarely ever being G-rated have had an effect on this age group. On the plus side, I see the littles being more accepting of each other. They don't see skin color, language barriers are overcome, and they think nothing of their more unique friends."

—Vi, 65

9. "Showing a movie back in the day was considered a reward. Today, kids can't sit through a movie and view it as some form of torture."

10. "This is my 35th year teaching high school. Current students are more 'world-minded' and see the interconnection between themselves, their world, and the larger world. This is largely due to the internet, social media, and even gaming. I'm impressed by many of the students I teach. While it could be argued that more students have bigger behavioral problems in schools, I'm not convinced that young people overall have changed. Perhaps we see more behavior problems in schools because schools work SO much harder to retain students. Schools with low graduation rates face penalities now. Many students who, back in the day, would have been thrown out or counseled out of school are now kept in it. This has positive and negative impacts."

"Should schools work to support students and motivate them to stay in school? Yes. Some students who have rough starts are able to make changes that allow them to graduate and become productive citizens. Should schools work to keep students who repeatedly show that they have absolutely no interest in being in school or who are dangerous or violent to others? No. With the exception of extreme violence, it's hard to know what that tipping point is with some students. Sometimes, schools get it right, and the students and society benefit. Unfortunately, sometimes we get it wrong."

—Teri, 57, Wyoming

11. "I'm a 36-year teacher who started in 1988. Pre-smart phones and laptops, students weren't constantly fact-checking me. Now, before I even finish a sentence, kids will say, 'He's right,' or 'That's cap.' It's VERY annoying."

12. "I've been teaching for almost 30 years. I love teaching and work hard to show my students that I care about them while holding my expectations high. I don't notice many major behavioral issues in my students; they generally seem to like me. But if they don't, I don't lose sleep over it because my goal isn't to be their friend but to help them learn. I just keep showing them that even if I don't matter to them, they matter to me and the school community. However, my biggest pet peeve these days is the effects of instant gratification on the learning process. There's been a huge shift in the last 10 years from 'I can figure this out' to 'Just give me the answer.' Students want to be fed their education in an entertaining way and for it to just magically stick without having to put in any muscle."

"Case in point, the other day, they came up with questions to research about marine mammals. Then, they had to go to online encyclopedias and find the answers to their questions. Even my smartest students would glance at the screen for a minute when it came up, and if they didn’t IMMEDIATELY see the answer, they quit. They wouldn’t even SCROLL DOWN. They’d just say, 'It’s too hard. It doesn’t have what I’m looking for.' Um, yeah, it does, but you have to actually LOOK. It’s super frustrating."

— iteach

13. "Even students in middle school cannot read at the level they're supposed to."

14. "When I started teaching in the late '70s, the naughtiest things kids did was maybe chew gum in school or pass notes. Now, the kids are throwing furniture across the room, hitting other students in the head with chairs, or destroying bulletin boards in the hall. Mind you, I teach at an elementary school! Back then, when I taught the kids how to play a game, they played by the rules and had fun. Now, most kids try to find a way to cheat, then throw tantrums about losing. Back in the '70s and '80s, we spent most of our days teaching. Now, we spend most of our days dealing with behaviors and emotions."

—Candy, 67, New York

15. "Kids are a lot more bold nowadays, and I say that in a positive light. They are a lot more confident in how they present themselves and their ideas, and they are keen on socializing with others and not being afraid to stick up for themselves, which are respectable traits that I didn't see much of in the past. The only thing that I'm really concerned about is AI. AI is ruining a lot in the classroom."

16. "The way kids talk to adults nowadays is atrocious. I've had students yell directly in my face, tell me no over simple tasks, and treat the adults like they're their own personal butlers. Maybe it's an independent school thing, but the entitlement is nauseating."

—Lulu, 42, Connecticut

17. "I've been teaching since 2005 in grades K–2. The thing that scares me the most about this current generation of students is that they aren't curious. My kids used to pepper me with questions about all kinds of things. They would get really excited when we switched to learning a new topic or when they learned a new word. Now, kids just give me blank stares. Half the time, when I ask them to repeat something I said, they can't. You teach them a phonics concept or a problem-solving strategy and ask them to apply it, and they look at you like you're from another universe. It got so bad with my current class of second graders that around the first week of October, I sat them all down and asked them what I could do to make learning fun and exciting. You know what they said? They said they wanted to be on their tablets. And it's not really surprising."

18. "Kids used to have respect for authority and manners — and they were the norm, not just the exception. You rarely had to raise your voice. Just a look was enough to get the point across. Now, you can’t even get their attention. Parents used to believe the teacher over the child, and the children (no matter the grade) were expected to toe the line. Now, parents ignore teachers and defend their children no matter how offensive their behavior. And yet, we are expected to teach more than we used to and get higher scores with less help and participation from students and parents than ever before. Teaching was different in the '80, that's for sure."

—Wendy, Alaska

19. "Kids today think they know it all and do not value the learning process. Why should they? The internet is at their fingertips. There’s little value in creating opinions by researching facts to grow and change one’s mind. As soon as kids see what they want to see, they run with it. It seems everyone is an 'expert' now. Prior to the rise of phones in schools, kids were better held accountable to each other and their actions in face-to-face interactions. Life demands weren’t pulling family time apart, so parents were more engaged and willing to discuss school issues. Now, parents want to challenge everything but do nothing to help their children understand accountability for their learning and behaviors."

20. "When I was teaching before the pandemic, kids would at least try if they didn't understand something or weren't confident. They'd at least put something down if there were a question on an assignment they weren't sure about. Sometimes it was a silly answer, but it was better than nothing! Now, my kids will just be like a deer in the headlights. If there's a question they don't understand, they don't even skip it and come back to it. They just give up. There are whole assignments they turn in blank! They're so afraid to be wrong that they don't even take chances."

—Taylor, 27, Virginia

21. "Eloping from classrooms. I've been teaching for 30 years, and in the past few years, students feel they can just leave the room whenever they want. I could understand if it was a bathroom emergency, but they would leave because they didn't want to do the work, they couldn't use their phones, etc. Many of them will say curse words as they head out the door, too. I would still be grounded today if I had done that when I was in school."

22. Lastly: "The burden of responsibility. This has shifted away from students and families and more toward teachers as more districts adopt policies that 'hold the child harmless.' This has created a culture where students are no longer held accountable for themselves, their behavior, learning, work output, and more! While teachers still hold some responsibility for these, the families and students seemingly have zero, and THAT'S the problem — that partnership has eroded. If a student misbehaves or does not know how to socialize positively, the parents expect us to teach life and social skills FOR them (as I've had parents tell me). They seem to be more concerned about being liked or being their child's friend. But kids no longer have consequences for poor grades or behavior, and while I think second chances are excellent, not everything in life gets a redo."

"While I do my very best and give 100% every day (and I’m admittedly pretty good) with teaching 8th-grade history, social-emotional skills, life skills, and providing gentle Ted Lasso-like guidance to these kids, it’s getting harder and harder because I don’t have the same energy that I used to have when I first started teaching."

These Engaging ChatGPT Prompts Will Spark Teen Learning This Summer

These Engaging ChatGPT Prompts Will Spark Teen Learning This Summer

Summer doesn't have to mean shutting your brain off - but we also know that worksheets, flashcards, and lectures probably aren't making it onto your teen's summer bucket list. (Let's be real - I can barely get my teenagers to take out the garbage, let alone complete some sort of education a l curriculum .) What is grabbing their attention? Well, the same thing that always does: Screens. AI. Conversations that start with "I saw this thing on TikTok …"

But here's the good news. It's entirely possible for teens to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and MetaAI in ways that are actually fun and brain-boosting - the trick is simply knowing how to prompt it. A well-crafted question can take your teen on a curiosity-fueled rabbit hole, spark a creative project, or even help them feel more confident in their own thinking.

According to a recent Teen Council survey, 20% of teens already use AI to ask for personal advice. And as Clive, 16, put it, "We know, by having that digital literacy and using AI in classes to help us do our homework , we know so much more about AI than most teachers do … there's nothing about AI that they know that we don't already."

That said, though, there is a balance to strike. According to Dr. Jessica Flannery , Aura's Chief Parent and Director of Clinical Product Integration, "AI has become such a large category that covers everything from automatic grammar fixes to the ability to form a relationship, so it's becoming hard to actually put AI all in one bucket. When we think about AI for learning, the vast span of use cases can feel scary, but they also highlight gaps in our current systems … AI provides the opportunity to create personalized education when that is otherwise an impossible task to put on a teacher."

So how can teens use AI in a way that builds autonomy, resilience, and curiosity this summer? Here are some of the most engaging ChatGPT prompts to try - all designed to keep those neurons firing while still feeling totally Gen Z-approved.

Science, Tech, and Mind-Blowing Facts: Ideal for STEM-curious teens who want more than just textbook definitions.

One note (about AI in general, but especially for this category in particular): like everything else on the internet, sometimes AI shares information that isn't quite accurate. In fact, in the Teen Council survey mentioned above, our respondents rated the trustworthiness of AI on a scale from 1 to 10 - and gave it an average score of just 5.1 ("There have for sure been times where I've gone to look something up and it has just been completely wrong … like I've gone to fact check it and it was nothing similar to any of the other information I found," reported 17-year-old Lilla). So challenge your teen to not only use the prompts, but to then fact-check them.

"Give me a science experiment I can do at home with kitchen items and explain the science behind it."

"What are five science facts that sound fake but are totally true?"

"Could humans ever live on the moon for real? What would everyday life be like?"

"What's an unsolved mystery in science that no one has figured out yet?"

"How does facial recognition technology actually recognize people's faces?"

"Explain black holes [or another topic of interest] to me like you're a TikTok science influencer trying to go viral."

"Tell me a weird survival fact that might actually save my life someday."

"What's a real scientific explanation for something people used to think was magic or ghosts?"

"If satellites suddenly disappeared, what would happen to my daily life?"

Real-World Math (That Doesn't Suck): Because it turns out math is useful IRL.

"Create a scenario where I start a business and use percentages to figure out profit. Make it something fun like a slime shop or sneaker reselling."

"Turn classic word problems into a riddle or a story I want to solve."

"Show me how to calculate shooting percentages in basketball or accuracy rates in video games."

"Explain the Pythagorean theorem using a pizza slice or something random but memorable."

"If I want to become famous, how many followers would I need to gain each day to reach a million in two years? Make it a step-by-step plan."

"Explain ratios to me using music playlists and how many songs per vibe I should have."

"Give me a geometry problem about designing a cool tattoo that uses shapes and symmetry."

College and Career Day, But Cool: For teens starting to think about the future in bite-sized ways.

"What are five weird careers I probably don't know about, and how do I get into them?"

"If I love [insert interests here, even random ones], what should I major in? What should my career be?"

"Give me a list of careers that didn't exist 20 years ago. Explain each one like you're pitching it to me at Career Day."

"I'm into psychology. What's a cool thing I could learn or try this summer that relates to it?"

"Give me a day-in-the-life scenario of someone working in my dream career so I can see if I'd actually like it."

"If I wanted to start my own business as a teen, what are some realistic ideas and first steps?"

"If I wanted to take a gap year before college, what are some amazing ways I could spend it that would still look good on applications?"

Media Literacy and Digital Smarts: Where critical thinking meets TikTok.

"How can I tell if a TikTok is spreading misinformation?"

"How do algorithms decide what to show me on my For You Page, and how does that affect what I believe about the world?"

"Give me a fun way to test my bias when I read something online."

"Make a logic puzzle out of a conspiracy theory so I can see where it falls apart."

"Explain what echo chambers are using an example from gaming communities."

"Create a meme that explains confirmation bias to teens."

"How can I tell if a YouTuber's video is sponsored even if they don't say ‘ad' at the beginning?"

Culture, Language, and History: Because the world is bigger than your corner of the internet.

"Teach me five slang words from another country that teens use, and what they mean."

"If aliens landed and asked about human history in 100 words, what would you tell them?"

"How would Shakespeare insult someone in modern-day slang? Translate it for me."

"What's the story behind a street food I've never heard of?"

"Explain a historical event as if it were a celebrity drama update."

"Give me a mysterious unsolved historical event and a theory about what might have happened."

"Tell me about a historical figure who did something epic before turning 18."

"What foods are popular in different countries that I might think are weird but they love?"

"How has slang changed in the last 100 years? Give me an example from each decade."

"Explain what life was like for teens in the 1980s, but make it sound dramatic like a movie trailer."

Self-Discovery and Emotional Intelligence: For teens who use AI the way they might use a journal, mentor, or therapist.

"Give me three journal prompts that can help me figure out what really matters to me."

"Create a personality quiz that helps me understand how I learn best."

"What are five small things I can do today to feel prouder of myself by bedtime?"

"Give me a creative way to check in with my feelings each day so it doesn't feel boring."

"What's the difference between anxiety and excitement, and how can I tell what I'm feeling?"

"Write me a gratitude list starter to help me focus on what's going right today."

"What's something I could do today to show myself love that doesn't cost any money?"

"Give me a way to figure out what my core values are without it feeling like a school assignment."

"What are three questions to ask myself when I'm feeling insecure about my appearance?"

"What's one thing I could do today to make tomorrow easier for myself?"

Dr. Flannery explains that teens often turn to AI because they're looking for a "safe and judgement-free support, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a great moment for parents to check in and start the conversation about what's going on."

That's why building AI literacy matters - not just for teens, but for parents, too.

"AI isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future … Schools can play an important role in helping teens learn how to use it for good and how to spot when it may be dangerous, and how to approach it with a critical eye," Flannery notes.

Bonus Challenge Prompts: For teens who want to level up.

"Create a trivia quiz about [ favorite TV show]."

"Invent a new card game I can play with my siblings."

"Write a choose-your-own-adventure game set at my high school."

"Give me a way to reframe failure so it feels less scary."

"Help me write a comedy skit for TikTok that teens would actually share."

"What are 3 easy ways I can train my brain to focus better?"

"Give me a reflection question to help me be a better friend."

A Final Word for Parents

Yes, AI use needs guardrails - but that doesn't mean taking the wheel completely.

"Teens need plenty of room to explore AI, but like learning to drive, they need guidance and practice, and definitely shouldn't be driving the car without a permit," says Flannery. "When used in a healthy way, AI helps provoke different ways of thinking and provides educational exploration." Still, though, she encourages us to "[R]emind teens that AI shouldn't replace real-life learning, critical thinking, or social and emotional support from the people in their life."

Whether your teen is using ChatGPT to decode algebra, design a game, or journal about their values, this summer can be about more than just mindless screen time. With the right prompts, AI becomes a launchpad for creativity, curiosity, and self-discovery. And that's a pretty smart way to spend the break.

Volusia County Schools Introduces New Student Code of Conduct: Board Votes in July

Volusia County Schools Introduces New Student Code of Conduct: Board Votes in July

When Volusia County students return to class on Aug. 11, they will most likely have a new code of conduct and disciplinary procedures that district officials expect will draw clear boundaries for times when they step out of line.

The Volusia County School Board heard a presentation of the proposed changes June 24 and agreed to advertise the new policy for approval at the July 29 board meeting. It's the first comprehensive update of the code in more than 10 years, said Mike Micallef, executive director for graduation assurance and student services.

The current code is ambiguous and needs clarity, he said.

"It was a bunch of very broad definitions. Nothing was clear," Micallef said.

The goal of rewriting the code — with specific definitions and examples — is to make parents and students understand what is being enforced "so they can be on our side to help us out," Micallef said.

A new Code of Civility will be posted in every school.

"We want every interaction with family and students to be friendly, be positive, to work together," he said. "That's what this whole plan is about."

Student disciplinary/referrals drop in 2024-25

More than 55,000 referrals were written by teachers and staff during the 2024-25 school year. That's nearly one for every student.

But Micallef said the district saw an 18.5% reduction in student referrals in 2024-25 from the previous year, when more than 68,000 referrals were made.

All student groups showed improvement, including students with disabilities, English language learners, Black students, Hispanic students and economically disadvantaged students.

The drop is due to positive school cultures, an emphasis on academic, social and emotional growth, early and targeted student interventions, inclusive and supportive learning environments and "strengthening our whole-student philosophy," Micallef said.

How is the Volusia Code of Conduct changing for minor violations?

"Level I infractions are minor acts of misconduct that interfere with the orderly operation of the classroom, school function, extracurricular activities or approved transportation," according to a district presentation.

The policy is changed from a "general list of violations," to 11 specific infractions with a matrix of definitions and examples.

For instance, a bus disturbance (minor) is defined as any incident that interferes with the safe and orderly operation of a school bus. Specific examples include: Eating or drinking, using inappropriate language or gestures and standing or moving between seats.

Another example: Horseplay, defined as "engaging in non-confrontational physical contact with another student." Examples cited are: Pushing or shoving without intent to harm, running in hallways or classrooms and throwing objects without intent to harm.

The unauthorized use of electronic devices is also considered a Level 1 offense.

How will the district respond to a Level 1 violation?

The new code spells out the district's response to the violation. A first offense will require a student conference with a teacher or staff member, contacting the parent or guardian, loss of privileges for one to three days and a student reflection assignment.

A second offense results in a conference with a parent or guardian, detention for one to three days, the loss of privileges for one to five days and a behavior contract.

A third offense escalates the violation to a Level 2 infraction.

"A kid can't constantly have their cellphone out 27 times and just (result in) that parent call," Micallef said. "The infraction will now bump up to the severity of a Level 2 consequences where those will now ramp up."

Level 2 violations carry harsher penalties

The 27 Level 2 violations include more serious bus disturbances, such as yelling, screaming and playing loud music, or refusing to follow the bus driver's instructions; cheating; disrespect; "eloping," or running off school campus without permission; insubordination; inappropriate materials; skipping classes; use of tobacco.

The penalties include a mandatory parent/guardian conference, three- to five-day detentions, loss of privileges for 10 school days, with those penalties escalating for second and third offenses.

What constitutes a Level 3 offense?

Possession or use of alcohol, holding ammunition, bullying, burglary, major bus disruptions, consensual sex, cyberstalking, drug possession, harassment, hazing and gang activity are included among the listed offenses for a Level 3 violation. There are 50 listed and Level 3 acts "disrupt the educational environment or endanger health and safety."

Level 3 consequences include being assigned to an alternative education program, expulsion from school or bus, Saturday school, and referral to a counselor or psychologist.

Yes, there is a Level 4

Level 4 offenses start with expulsion. Those listed include assault/threat/intimidation, bomb threat, drug distribution or sale, an off-campus felony, possession of weapons, paintball or airsoft guns or lookalikes, riot and vandalism over $1,000. There are 21 total offenses and are considered "the most serious acts of misconduct that threaten school safety and require mandatory intervention."

Board member Donna Brosemer said teachers and administrators "get a lot of grief from the parents" when their children face discipline.

"How much of the enforcement is discretionary on the part of the individual school administrator?" Brosemer asked.

Micallef responded: "The discipline matrix should be their guide to lead them with their discipline process."

"So they don't necessarily have the discretion to say, 'Well, OK, we'll let it go this time'?" Brosemer asked.

"Yes they do have that discretion. They honestly could as a school principal," Micallef said. "Every student has a different story, every situation is different knowing that as a school-based leader myself, so you take those sometimes into consideration, but... the matrix is there to guide our decision making for any kind of infractions. That's what it's there for, for us to be consistent across the board."

New approach to bullying

Under the current code, bullying has a "very general" description with limited specificity about behaviors, patterns and reporting requirements, Micallef said.

The definition in the proposed code is: "Pattern of behavior displayed against multiple students or employees or repetitive behavior against a single student or employee which inflicts physical hurt or psychological distress that is severe or pervasive enough to create an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment; or unreasonably interfere with the individual's school performance or participation, including through electronic means. Behavior must have been reported to school officials and documented."

Board member Jessie Thompson asked whether parents must report bullying off campus or after hours.

"Yes. Anything ... that's going to turn into a campus event, and normally all of that does, they have to report it to the school and then the school would document it," Micallef said.

How new Florida law banning cellphones affects Volusia

House Bill 1105 ensures that elementary and middle school students are prohibited from using cellphones or other communication devices throughout the entire school day. Previously, cellphones were only barred from elementary schools statewide, although Volusia County Schools has already had a ban on cellphone use in both elementary and middle schools.

High school students are allowed to use their cellphones in designated areas to be determined by local school boards, although they are required under the new law to be put away in backpacks or pockets unless otherwise authorized by their teacher.

Board Chair Jamie Haynes said after implementing the cellphone policy last year banning them from elementary and middle schools, she didn't hear any complaints. High schools, though, became more permissive.

"I don't have a problem if all of a sudden the teacher says, 'Could all of you take it out, turn it on, do this?'" she said. "... The biggest number of complaints I received last year after implementing this is from parents saying our kids are being told they can have them out in class, and beyond them doing whatever they want, there was not a purpose for them."

Haynes said students told her that teachers allowed them to keep their phones out, but urged them to put them away if they saw administrators approaching.

"So we can't have a policy, and the state has now dictated exactly how it's supposed to be, and everyone not follow that policy," Haynes said.

Haynes inquired about Apple Watches and whether they must be put away, as well.

"That's going to be a great discussion that we get to have here, and look at pros and cons with, but it is something you're right, with Apple Watches and things," Micallef said. "Yes, kids wear them and yes, kids have them."

Will new code work? One board member calls it 'uphill battle'

Board member Ruben Colón recounted when the district implemented a school uniform requirement that has since been rescinded. School administrators would stand at the door as students entered and frequently sent them to the auditorium for an hour of "non-learning" until someone brought them appropriate attire.

"My one-of-five hope is that we would take more of a passive approach where this doesn't become disruptive to the learning environment," Colon said. "You know, The referral goes in, it goes to the administrator. Because the last thing I'd like to see is teachers having to fight cellphones. We know this is an uphill battle. There's no question that the enforcement on this is going to be crazy."

Superintendent Carmen Balgobin said the district's communications team will be involved with sharing information about legislation to all families, adding: "Parents and families will need to hear this multiple times."

State Takeover Sparks Sharp Decline in NES School Enrollment

State Takeover Sparks Sharp Decline in NES School Enrollment

Most Houston ISD campuses have reported sharper enrollment declines since the controversial state takeover, with New Education System schools reporting some of the largest drops compared to previous years.

HISD, like many urban school districts nationwide, has seen a steady decline in enrollment for nearly a decade. However, a Chronicle analysis of Texas Education Agency enrollment data shows that the rate of enrollment declines in HISD has accelerated since the takeover.

The data shows that HISD's enrollment was declining by an average of about 2% each year in the five years prior to the state takeover in June 2023. Since then, the district's student enrollment has declined by about 4% each year, largely driven by enrollment declines at the 130 NES campuses.

{ "__type": "devHubFreeformEmbed", "__id": "Datawrapper", "__fallbackImage": "https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/IdzM3/mobile.png", "__data": { "datawrapper_id": "IdzM3" } }

Enrollment at NES schools declined by 3.7% each year in the five years before the takeover, while enrollment at non-NES schools declined by about 1.5%. In the two years since the state takeover, enrollment at NES campuses has declined by about 6% yearly, while the rate for non-NES campuses has remained the same.

SEARCH YOUR CAMPUS: These HISD schools have seen the largest enrollment declines in the last 2 years

HISD's fall snapshot data shows that about 75% of its campuses reported year-over-year enrollment declines in the 2024-25 school year. The district lost nearly 7,400 students in 2024, which was the largest year-over-year overall enrollment decline in the district since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Duncan Klussmann, an assistant professor at the University of Houston, said while improving academic performance should continue to be a priority for HISD, the district's growing enrollment declines will have "significant financial implications" if they continue.

HISD needs to find a balance between addressing student outcomes and paying more attention to its declining enrollment, he said.

"As policy makers focus much more on student achievement and the STAAR test, that's not necessarily what parents align to or what they want their child's experience to be," Klussmann said. "(NES is) a very innovative approach and has been very successful in producing higher test scores. That's what it's designed to do, but that is not what every parent is looking for."

Declines at New Education System schools

TEA data shows that 13 of the 15 schools with the largest percentage enrollment declines were NES campuses during the state takeover. In the five years before the takeover, only seven of the 15 schools with the largest enrollment declines were campuses that are now part of the NES model.

De Zavala Elementary School has reported an average yearly student enrollment decrease of 17% in the two years since the state takeover - the largest decline of any HISD campus. The NES school had previously reported that enrollment was declining by about 7% each year before the state's intervention into the district.

HISD launched the NES model at 28 campuses during the 2023-24 academic year, along with 57 campuses known as NES-aligned schools. The district expanded the systemic reform program to 130 schools in the 2024-25 academic year, largely based on each school's unofficial state A-F accountability ratings.

The NES model includes a standardized curriculum that teachers must follow, the conversion of libraries to "Team Centers," and new "Dyad" and "Art of Thinking" courses. The campuses also have longer hours, timed lessons, higher pay for educators, additional staff who provide support for teachers and less autonomy.

ENROLLMENT DECLINES: HISD lost more than 30,000 students in past decade as charter, suburban enrollment grew

{ "__type": "devHubFreeformEmbed", "__id": "Datawrapper", "__fallbackImage": "https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/QmTtk/mobile.png", "__data": { "datawrapper_id": "QmTtk" } }

The reform program has faced vocal pushback from multiple HISD parents and community members since its implementation, who have criticized the model for contributing to rigid, stricter learning environments, rising principal and teacher turnover , and an excessive focus on test scores within schools.

State-appointed Superintendent Mike Miles previously told the Chronicle that while HISD is always trying to grow the number of students enrolled in the district, the district's priority is ensuring that all schools are high-functioning and earning "A" and "B" ratings from the Texas Education Agency.

HISD reported that the number of D- and F-rated campuses decreased from 121 to 41 and the number of A- and B-rated schools increased from 93 in 2023 to 170 in 2024 during the first year of the state takeover. The TEA plans to release ratings for the 2024-25 academic year in August.

"Over time, as (parents) see the trend in the right direction and the principals and teachers talking up their schools, I think that's when we'll see a change," Miles said.

Special education enrollment gains

While overall student enrollment has seen sharper declines, HISD has reported larger increases in the number and percentage of special education students enrolled in the district during the first two years of the state takeover compared to prior years, according to the Chronicle's analysis of TEA data.

The percentage of special education students in HISD increased by an average rate of 3% per year during the five years prior to the intervention. However, in the two years since the takeover began, special education enrollment has increased by approximately 8% each year.

Approximately 12% of students in HISD received special education services during the 2024-25 year, which is up from about 7% during the 2017-18 year. The district has also reported a net increase of 3,000 students receiving special education services during the takeover, even amid overall enrollment declines.

HISD did not respond to a request for comment on why the share of special education students has grown since the takeover, although the increase coincides with a statewide growth in special education enrollment after state lawmakers removed a 8.5% cap on special education enrollment in 2017.

SCHOOL VOUCHERS: Why most vouchers in Texas could go to homeschoolers, not private schools

{ "__type": "devHubFreeformEmbed", "__id": "Datawrapper", "__fallbackImage": "https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/nz2fe/mobile.png", "__data": { "datawrapper_id": "nz2fe" } }

Virginia Snodgrass Rangel, an associate professor in the University of Houston's College of Education, said the change in HISD's special education enrollment is "dramatic" but it's unclear how much is attributable to the district's current efforts to reform its long-struggling special education department.

"Part of this increase could be just that they're doing a better job, and they're identifying kids that should have been identified before," Snodgrass Rangel said. "It also could be that the kids who are leaving are less likely to need special education services because private schools are not required to service students who have an (Individualized Education Program.)

The percentage of special education students has increased at both New Education System and non-NES campuses, although the increase has been larger in non-NES schools. At NES campuses, there has been a 7% increase during the first two years of the state takeover, while non-NES campuses have reported a 28% increase in the same time period.

HIRING TEACHERS: HISD aims to hire at least 350 teachers with several upcoming job fairs

{ "__type": "devHubFreeformEmbed", "__id": "Datawrapper", "__fallbackImage": "https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/th4fk/mobile.png", "__data": { "datawrapper_id": "th4fk" } }

TEA data shows that some of HISD's other overall student demographic data - such as race and socio-economic status - have seen much smaller shifts since the beginning of the state takeover.

HISD reported that the percentage of economically disadvantaged students in the district has dropped about two percentage points since the state takeover, but it's typical for the district's rate of economically disadvantaged students to fluctuate between around 78% and 80%.

Approximately 77.8% of HISD students were economically disadvantaged in the 2024-25 year, which means they qualified for free or reduced-price lunch based on their household size and income. Two years earlier, about 79.5% of HISD students were considered economically disadvantaged.

The district's overall racial demographics have seen even smaller shifts since the takeover, with the share of Black students in the district dropping by 1 percentage point over two years. The shares of Asian and other racial demographic groups have increased representation slightly, while Hispanic and white student shares have remained the same.

Casey Stevens: Guiding Souls Through Conscious Healing

Casey Stevens is a licensed psychotherapist, but her approach goes far beyond the traditional. Known for her work as a Spiritual Psychotherapist, Consciousness Coach, and Quantum Healer, Casey blends clinical expertise with deep intuition helping people reconnect with themselves on a soul level.

Her journey into this work began with her own pain. The end of a marriage and the passing of her former husband pushed her inward, where she discovered not only healing but purpose. Today, she brings that same clarity to her clients, offering a compassionate, direct, and deeply human approach to personal transformation.

What sets Casey apart is her refusal to treat symptoms as the end of the story. Instead, she helps each client uncover their unique path to wholeness focusing not just on emotional wellness, but on spiritual growth and full alignment. “How you do anything is how you do everything,” she says, pointing to the idea that healing one’s inner world is the first step to changing the outer one.

With nearly 15 years of experience and a reputation that attracts high performers from around the world, Casey creates safe, honest spaces for people to face their shadows, reclaim their voice, and live with freedom. She envisions a future where more people take ownership of their growth not from fear, but from self-awareness and deep care.

Dr. Paul Barattiero: Restoring Wellness Through Hydrogen and Heart

For over 20 years, Dr. Paul Barattiero has dedicated his work to one question: how can we help the body heal itself without drugs or gimmicks? That pursuit led him to the world of molecular hydrogen and eventually to founding Echo, a wellness brand that’s turning water into one of the most powerful tools for recovery and energy.

Dr. Paul’s journey began after watching his own family battle chronic illness and inflammation. The solution wasn’t another supplement or pharmaceutical it was cellular repair. When he discovered the science behind hydrogen-enriched water and its ability to reduce oxidative stress, Dr. Paul committed to making this technology both accessible and effective. The result is Echo, home to the award-winning Echo Flask, the only hydrogen water bottle with a mobile app and industry-leading performance.

But Dr. Paul’s mission goes deeper than hydration. Through Echo and his red-light therapy company LumaNova, he’s leading a movement toward long-term wellness by supporting the body’s natural processes. From professional athletes to everyday families, Echo’s products are helping people regain their clarity, energy, and resilience.

Paul’s work has been featured in outlets like Authority Magazine and The Jeff Crilley Show, and he continues to speak at global wellness summits. His focus remains on education, access, and integrity helping people live better, starting from within.

Lene Nygaard Nielsen: Restoring Wellness Through Truth and Simplicity

When chronic illness disrupted her life in 2018, Lene Nygaard Nielsen found herself unable to work, run errands, or even walk steadily. Diagnosed with Meniere’s disease and told she would simply have to “live with it,” she refused to accept a life limited by dizziness, fatigue, and isolation. Her journey back to health began with a decision to look beyond traditional care and what she discovered changed everything.

Lene came across the information and protocols shared by Anthony William, the Medical Medium, and began applying them in her daily life. With healing foods, supplements, and lifestyle shifts, her symptoms began to ease. Celery juice became part of her morning routine. Processed foods and triggers were eliminated. Slowly but surely, the dizziness left. Her energy returned. And so did her sense of purpose.

Today, Lene shares this same hope and information with others through her online platform, where she offers practical support for those battling chronic symptoms. Her feed is filled with everyday healing tools from diet advice to inspiration and honest reflections on what it means to heal from the inside out.

Her dream is simple: to help others find light in the darkest moments of illness, and to spread the truth that healing is possible. She’s currently studying to become a certified health coach and continues to guide those who are ready to take their health into their own hands.

Dr. Kim Dixon: Advancing Women’s Health Through Pelvic Care

Dr. Kim Dixon has spent more than 27 years helping patients move better, feel stronger, and heal more completely. But it wasn’t until her own experience with childbirth-related injury that her work took a powerful turn. After labor left her with a torn hip labrum, she realized that standard recovery care often misses a key piece: pelvic floor therapy.

That realization sparked her mission and today, Dr. Dixon is a leading voice in women’s pelvic health. Through her practice, Pearl Physical Therapy, she provides one-on-one, holistic care that addresses the full picture, not just isolated pain points. Whether she’s helping a new mom regain strength or guiding a perimenopausal client through life changes, her focus remains the same: giving women the answers and support they deserve.

Her impact goes far beyond the clinic. A former adjunct faculty member at Marymount University, Dr. Dixon continues to educate and empower through public speaking, workshops, and collaborations. This June, she’s leading a four-part series on pelvic health with NoomVibe, the wellness arm of the popular weight loss company Noom.

She is also the co-founder of Life Doesn’t Pause , a company dedicated to empowering women through the transitional phases of perimenopause and menopause. The initiative offers an integrated model of care focused on three essential pillars: physical health, mental health, and nutrition.

With a growing team and clear vision, Dr. Dixon is leading the charge for care that meets women where they are and helps them reclaim their health, strength, and confidence.

Jon Paul Crimi: The Breathwork Trailblazer Making Healing Mainstream

Over the past decade, Jon Paul Crimi has been a pioneer in the field of Breathwork, redefining what it means to access deep emotional healing through the power of breath. He took what was once considered an alternative, “New Age” practice and made it mainstream—so more people could heal and feel better. His sessions are often described as “20 years of therapy in an hour,” with results that are immediate and undeniable.

A former celebrity trainer and sober coach turned transformational Breathwork teacher, Jon Paul blends intensity, humor, and vulnerability with a no-nonsense New England approach. This rare combination makes him one of the most sought-after leaders in the wellness space today.

He began his Breathwork journey in Los Angeles, with encouragement from close friend Matthew Perry of Friends fame, and quickly found himself guiding Oscar and Grammy winners, Olympic athletes, and top executives through life-changing sessions. But he didn’t want it to be exclusive—he wanted everyone to have access to this powerful tool.

So he launched online Breathwork, including his wildly popular Sunday Zoom classes with five-day replays.

Jon Paul has trained thousands of Breathwork teachers globally, both in person and online. He has led classes for Tony Robbins and been featured in The Hollywood Reporter , LA Magazine , and on Good Morning America .

Whether you’re joining a Sunday class [ Link ] or diving into a teacher training [ Link ], Jon Paul Crimi offers more than a breathing technique—he offers transformation. His work is not just a practice—it’s a movement.

Cathy Young: Changing Lives Through Root Cause Healing

Cathy Young’s journey into naturopathic nutrition began long before she opened her clinic it started in childhood, as she battled severe eczema and allergies with little help from conventional medicine. That early struggle sparked a lifelong mission: to uncover what truly heals the body.

Today, Cathy is a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and the founder of NaturopathyCathy®, a fast-growing wellness brand known for delivering real, lasting results. Her method blends ancient naturopathic practices with advanced functional testing, offering a powerful and practical approach to healing at the root level.

Cathy supports clients through a range of chronic issues including skin conditions, digestive problems, inflammation, aches and pains, allergies, stubborn weight, and low energy. Her goal isn’t to simply reduce symptoms it’s to understand what’s causing them and help the body return to balance.

When her own son developed full-body eczema as a baby, Cathy turned to the same tools that helped her heal. The results? His skin is now flawless, with no ongoing issues or medications. That success solidified her belief that true healing starts from within.

From helping clients worldwide avoid surgery and ditch long-term prescriptions, to training the next generation of wellness professionals through her upcoming practitioner course, Cathy’s work is making waves across the health world. Amy Todd: Guiding Chronic Illness Warriors Back to Wholeness

Amy Todd’s journey into healing began long before she ever opened her virtual practice. As a Family Nurse Practitioner who spent years working in hospitals and clinics, Amy had seen the limits of traditional medicine. But it wasn’t until she faced her own battle with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue that she realized something deeper was missing.

After trying treatment after treatment, Amy began looking inward and that’s when things started to shift. She discovered that true healing doesn’t begin with a prescription. It starts by understanding the body’s signals, addressing emotional wounds, and clearing the hidden beliefs that keep us stuck. That personal transformation led to the birth of her business, Redeeming Health, and its coaching extension, Authentic Healing with Amy. Today, Amy helps others find what she once searched for: lasting relief. Through trauma-informed care, energy analysis, and bioenergetic scans, she helps clients uncover the real source of their symptoms. Her work goes beyond surface-level treatment it reaches the root of chronic illness.

Amy’s message is simple but powerful: the body is always speaking, and it knows exactly what it needs to heal. With patience, compassion, and the right support, Amy helps clients reconnect with that wisdom. She’s not offering a quick fix. She’s offering a path home to balance, strength, and trust in one’s own body.

Her mission is clear: help chronic illness warriors not just cope, but truly reclaim their health physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Past Wordle answers: Days with two answers

On which days have there been two Wordle answers?

One of the key things about Wordle is that everyone gets the same answer each day. Or is it? There have been four occasions when the game has served up two different solutions, causing no end of consternation among players.

The first two were victims of the New York Times' purchase of the game in February 2022. The NYT removed around a dozen words that it decided were too difficult for players, or that were in some way controversial.

However, at that time people could play either via the NYT's games site, or via the original Wordle website created by Josh Wardle. And unfortunately, the changes made by the NYT didn't always filter through correctly to the original version.

The result was that on February 15, 2022 some people got AROMA and some the much harder AGORA for puzzle #241. Then on March 30, the same thing happened with STOVE and HARRY for game #284; the NYT thought people would only consider HARRY to be a name, and not a verb (as in to harrass), so it removed it.

The problem reoccurred in May 2022. On May 10 (game #324), the NYT removed the word FETUS in the wake of the US Supreme Court's decision to repeal Roe vs Wade, deeming it too controversial. Instead, most players got SHINE. The next day, some players got GECKO while others received BUTCH, due to the NYT's servers not yet having reset for everyone from the previous day's change.
